About Us
Schools Beyond Screens is a national coalition of parents and educators advocating for evidence-based guidelines around technology in the classroom. The organization consists of hundreds of independent, parent-led groups around the country working for change in their local districts.
The Winchester chapter was founded in spring 2026 by two concerned Winchester parents. As the 2026-2027 school year kicks off, our immediate goal is to push for two changes in Winchester Public Schools: age-appropriate individual screen time guidelines and a moratorium on AI usage in K-8 classrooms.
